Q: How is the video doorbell powered?
A: The video doorbell can be powered by a rechargeable 21100 4800mAh battery, which needs to be charged for 4-8 hours for the first use. Alternatively, it supports external power input from AC&DC12-24V/1A using a charge adapter with specifications 5V/2A.
Q: How do I know the status of the camera network?
A: The indicator light provides information on the camera network. A solid red light indicates abnormal network status, while a blinking red light means the camera is waiting to connect. A faster blinking or solid blue light indicates that the camera is running correctly.
Q. How do I pair the video doorbell with a door chime?
A: To pair the video doorbell with a door chime, press and hold the "Set" button for about 3 seconds until the door chime rings. Then, press the video doorbell twice within 30 seconds. If the door chime rings again, the pairing is successful. For multiple video doorbells, repeat the process.
Q. How do I reset or delete the pairing code?
A: To delete pairing codes, press and hold the "Set" button for about 10 seconds until the door chime rings twice. This action will delete all pairing codes completely.
Q. What are the steps to connect the video doorbell to the Tuya Smart app?
A: First, download the Tuya Smart app on your IOS or Android device. Open the app, click "Register," agree to the privacy policy, and enter a valid mobile number or email address. After receiving the verification code, log in to the app. Ensure the device is on a 2.4GHz WIFI network, and during the configuration, keep the mobile phone and device close to the router to expedite the process.
Note: The camera only supports a 2.4GHz WIFI network, and WIFI name/password should not exceed 24 digits. Ensure the indicator light is flashing quickly before entering the WIFI page or try resetting the device if not.
